GCP has achieved B Corp certification!
We are pleased to share some great news with you: after becoming a Benefit Corporation earlier this year, GCP has obtained B Corp certification!
For us, this was the natural step of a business inclination we have been pursuing for some time, both within GCP and in the entrepreneurial realities of our clients. For over 15 years, we have been supporting Italian manufacturing companies in their organizational, production, and strategic improvement processes. At the heart of every initiative, however, there is a common thread that connects all our actions: Sustainability.
For GCP, the economic well-being of a company is inseparable from the well-being of its stakeholders: employees, customers, suppliers, and the community. A business is truly healthy when it generates shared value and grows in balance with the environment and the people around it. This is why we have chosen to…
- become a Benefit Corporation, incorporating in our mission a commitment to positive impact,
- proudly obtain B Corp certification, which recognises our integrated and consistent approach to doing business,
- constantly commit to improving our social, environmental, and governance impact,
- continue every day to design and deliver tailored consulting services to help
- manufacturing companies become more effective, leaner, more sustainable, and more aware.
Through this perspective, we organise and improve the efficiency of processes, develop growth strategies in Italy and abroad, guide companies towards ESG certifications, build sustainability pathways, and spread the culture of continuous improvement.
Alberto Canepari and Matteo Falsaperla, respectively co-founder and B Keeper of the company, comment on this milestone as follows:
“The journey that led us to B Corp certification was much more than a simple formal process: it was a moment of collective growth. It allowed us to become aware not only of our strengths, but above all of the areas where we can and must improve. One of the most significant aspects was the active involvement of many people within the organisation. Sustainability, in fact, cannot be the responsibility of a single individual: it requires a shared vision and a common commitment. Having worked together, defining clear goals and building a participatory path, is what gives authentic value to this certification. We are proud of the result, but even more so of the journey that brought us here.”
