A continuous commitment to sustainability
A modern company must care about the future of our planet and commit to sustainable development that preserves the wealth and wellbeing of future generations as well.
GCP embarked on its sustainability journey many years ago, integrating the development of dedicated services with concrete actions aimed at reducing its environmental impact: from offering innovative services designed to support companies in their sustainable growth journey, to internal initiatives focused on reducing resource consumption, minimising emissions and adopting eco-friendly practices across every area of operations.
Here is our concrete commitment to integrating growth and sustainability.
The GCP Manifesto: we aim for sustainable growth
At GCP Benefit Company and B Corp, we dream of and build a different way of doing business. A business that puts Wellbeing at its core. We believe in a sustainable, wellbeing-oriented business model that also generates economic success.
01 Client wellbeing
Every client must feel heard, understood and valued.
When value and trust are created, the relationship lasts. And grows
02 Employee wellbeing
For us, work is a place of growth, energy and beauty. Those who work with enthusiasm deliver extraordinary results.
03 Supplier wellbeing
Not just suppliers: fellow travellers. Sharing values, vision and respect — this is what builds strong and lasting partnerships.
04 Wellbeing for society and the community
A company is a living organism at the heart of society. The more we give to our community, the more it gives back in the form of trust, resources and opportunities.
05 Company wellbeing
There is no lasting success without internal wellbeing. A company that takes care of its people, of others and of itself generates true value, increases productivity and maximises profits.
Gender Equality
At GCP, we believe that gender equality is an essential element of sustainable growth and quality of work. Promoting equal opportunities means valuing different skills, experiences and perspectives, creating an environment where every person can fully contribute to the success of the organisation.
Environmental policy
GCP has chosen to adopt an environmental policy that is simple yet serious and demanding, going well beyond mere compliance with legal requirements.
We promote sustainable development by integrating resource-saving practices and full respect for the environment into every stage of our work. From office management to raising awareness among our collaborators, through to the selection of suppliers and eco-compatible solutions for our clients, we are constantly committed to reducing our impact and improving our environmental performance.
Corporate Carbon Footprint
We are committed to monitoring and quantifying our carbon footprint using advanced measurement methods. This process allows us to identify critical areas, reduce emissions and optimise resources. Our Carbon Footprint is ISO 14064 certified.
Carbon Calculation 2024: 152.80 tonCO₂e
Carbon Calculation 2025: 150.60 tonCO₂e
Zero Compensated Impact
GCP is engaged in a serious decarbonisation programme built on concrete actions to first measure, and then reduce, its Carbon Footprint.
Our main source of emissions comes from car travel to reach our offices, client locations and business trips we make in Italy and abroad. To reduce this impact, we encourage smart working, have begun introducing electric vehicles into our company fleet, travel by train on longer journeys wherever possible, and offset remaining emissions through carbon absorption projects. Since 2025, we have chosen the Mai Ndombe REDD+ Project | Everland, annually purchasing credits equivalent to 200 tonnes of CO₂, which more than offset our annual emissions. Thanks to these measures, all GCP consulting and training projects in 2025 and 2026 carry a zero compensated impact.
Code of ethics
The Code of Ethics is for us a central element that defines GCP’s values and guides their application in daily practice.
This document sets out the company’s commitment to responsibility, consistency and transparency towards all stakeholders. The result of a shared process that expresses the company’s Vision and Mission, the text finds its fullest expression in the B Corp certification, confirming a strategy aimed at permanently integrating environmental and social sustainability in order to generate a positive and measurable impact on the community.
B Corp Certification
For GCP, the economic wellbeing of a company is inseparable from the wellbeing of its stakeholders: employees, clients, suppliers and the community. A company is truly healthy when it generates shared value and grows in balance with the environment and the people around it. Through this perspective, we organise and streamline processes, develop growth strategies in Italy and abroad, guide companies towards ESG certifications, build sustainability pathways and spread the culture of continuous improvement.
A step forward for us, a concrete commitment for the future.
For GCP, a company’s economic wellbeing is inseparable from the wellbeing of its stakeholders: employees, clients, suppliers and the community. A company is truly healthy when it generates shared value and grows in balance with the environment and the people around it. For this reason we have chosen to:
Become a Benefit Company, embedding in our mission a commitment to positive impact;
Obtain B Corp certification with pride, recognising our integrated and consistent approach to doing business;
Continuously commit to improving our social, environmental and governance impact;
Keep designing and delivering tailored consulting services every day to help manufacturing companies become more effective, leaner, more sustainable and more aware.
Through this perspective, we organise and streamline processes, develop growth strategies in Italy and abroad, guide companies towards ESG certifications, build sustainability pathways and spread a culture of continuous improvement.
Alberto Canepari and Matteo Falsaperla, respectively co-founder and B Keeper of the company, comment on this milestone:
“The journey that led us to B Corp certification was far more than a formal process: it was a moment of collective growth. It allowed us to become aware not only of our strengths, but above all of the areas where we can and must improve.
One of the most significant aspects was the active involvement of so many people within the organisation. Sustainability, in fact, cannot be the responsibility of a single individual: it requires a shared vision and a common commitment. Having worked together, defining clear objectives and building a participatory journey, is what gives authentic value to this certification.
We are proud of the result, but even more so of the journey that brought us here.”.
Productivity and sustainability: GCP's Vision for Businesses
At GCP we believe that productivity and sustainability are not opposites, but allies. Two forces that, together, create lasting value for businesses, people and the planet.
01 Productivity is value
It means doing more, better. With less waste, more skills, more innovation. It means bringing order to processes, freedom to people, strength to the organisation.
02 Sustainability is the future
It means reducing impact, sharing value, thinking long-term. It means redesigning products, improving the supply chain, building trust. It means consciously choosing to remain competitive.
03 Two pillars, one model
The more productive a company is, the more sustainable it can be. The more sustainable it is, the more productive it becomes. It is on this virtuous balance that we build the companies of tomorrow together.
04 Our work
We bring method, tools and vision. We improve productivity through Lean, problem solving, digitalisation and artificial intelligence. We build sustainability through strategies, carbon footprint measurement, decarbonisation plans, eco-design, reporting, communication and certifications.
05 Why growing is a duty
To break out of the vicious cycle of low competitiveness. To bring value back to business, dignity to work, strength to our communities. To face a changing world with new tools and deep roots.
Our motto is simple: grow.
We believe in a sustainable business model oriented towards widespread wellbeing, and one that also generates economic success.
